AnalytiCon Discovery is based in Potsdam in Germany and one of the leading companies in the field of the research and development of products made from natural materials. AnalytiCon is a preferred partner in the pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetics industries. The hallmark of AnalytiCon Discovery is its expertise in natural products and their chemistry. This is based upon its unrivalled collections of purified Natural Products (MEGx) and semi-synthetic compounds (NATx) derived from Natural Products. Over the years these libraries have been continuously expanded to include well over 25,000 compounds, based on about 2,000 different chemotypes - all have had their structures completely resolved and are available ready-to-screen. There is a highly committed and qualified team of 60 natural product and medicinal chemists, biochemists, biologists and pharmacologists supported by a network of medical professionals and nutritional physiologists stretching from the Charité clinics in Berlin to the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City; AnalytiCon Discovery conducts full-spectrum programs to develop active ingredients and products. Part of AnalytiCon’s strategy is to seek co-operation with industrial partners at an early stage in order to secure the shortest possible time to market for the products. In the past five years, AnalytiCon has co-operated on projects with no less than 75 international companies from the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics industries.

AnalytiCon is the world's leading supplier of natural product-based drug discovery concepts. We primarily serve as a partner for preclinical discovery and optimization programs concerning active ingredients. Our academic partners such as MSKCC are available for further developments in a clinical setting. AnalytiCon is backed by 20 years' experience and successful co-operation with about 60 companies from the pharmaceutical industry.

Cosmetics

Based on its experience in the pharmaceuticals sector, AnalytiCon has become an attractive partner for the development of active ingredients for use in the cosmetics industry. AnalytiCon’s partners can establish attractive claims for their products based on the scientific proof of the effectiveness of the ingredients and the natural origins of the materials used.

Food

The co-operation AnalytiCon has established with companies in the food industry and their suppliers has also greatly benefited from the company’s years of experience in pharmaceutical research. In addition to the libraries of natural products, the use of an extensive bank of extracted and fractionated edible biomaterials is another major factor in our efforts to reduce the time taken to bring the products to the market. AnalytiCon also places a lot of importance on early-stage human trials, which provide a rapid overview of efficacy, bioavailability and metabolization.
